Does anyone know if within is a "universal" age to be certified as an EMT?
Answer:
Different states vary from 18-21. You must be at lowest possible 18 in any state.
However, SOME training programs will adopt 17 year-olds to start, but they must reach 18 previously they can be certified.
Minimum age is 18 across the board. Some areas won't let you work contained by the field until you're 21 though, even if you hold your license. Best to check it out with the organize instructor of the training program you're looking at.
