Take Biology and Science and Animal Science courses, and then apply to the University at Davis. They enjoy a famous Veterinary College.
Good luck and may God bless you.
I recommend finding work as a Veterinary Assistant, kennel, or shelter. You will carry a feel for what it is approaching working in that atmosphere. Veterinary practices, especially emergency services, can be awfully fast pace and stressful ~ but even more rewarding! This way you will know for sure if this is right for you. It is fundamentally hard to bring back into Vet school and experience help. Good luck!!
