Were here documented attempts of cloning a human anyone?
The sound out is - is there a documented experiment which proves that it have been done?
Urban legends will not be official as answers, only substantial information...
Answer:
It depends on your definition of cloning. If you penny-pinching reproductive cloning where a cloned child have been born-there are no documented cases except the hyped Ralien case from Dr.Zavos and Dr. Antinori, no proof have ever been released. However, within several countries including the US (non-NIH funds and selective states) therapeutic cloning is mortal done. That is that a donor cells nucleus is used contained by place of a zygote nucleus to produce blastocysts. After a couple days of culture the cells are dissociated at the blastocysts stage and the inner cell mass cell are removed to generate embryonic stem cell lines and the trophoblast cells are used to product another set of cell lines. This too is considered cloning though "Therapeutic". There are active human cathartic cloning protocols using non-NIH funds, such as in California. There are two completely different outcomes that are grouped underneath the concept of cloning.
Actually yes a scientist I believe from Italy went to international waters and tried it but it died following on
