It doesn't mean much. Asthma is a disease surrounded by which the airways constrict, making it difficult to move air contained by or out. If air isn't moving, as when you hold your breath, within should be no difference. The diffusing capacity of your lungs, total lung dimensions, perfusion, etc. should be about one and the same. The frequency and severity of attacks, along with whether you've be hospitalized, whether you've needed oral steroids, etc tells you much more in the region of the status of your lungs.

That's not bad, considering your asthma. I enjoy had contests next to people who (allegedly) be not suffering from any respiratory maladies who couldn't do it for more than thirty second.
If you are not having an actual asthma attack afterwards your lung capacity isn't really impair is it? One minute is not that big a deal, really. Pretty commonplace. Which is good!
