How can a man survive anyone shot within the chest?

I'm doing research for a story and I would like to know if a man (specifically) can survive human being shot in the chest nouns, and how and where the shout would be for this to be so. Also what would one enjoy to do to keep him alive en route to medical services?

Answers:    It depends what veins ,arteries that be missed, when he was shot.
if the major ones were shot, the big ones, afterwards a person would enjoy less uncertainty of surviving,I believe.
to keep him alive, you would own to try and stem the bleeding from the wound.
It depends on what the bullet hits. If the aorta, heart or pulmonary vessels are tatty, survival is less promising because of massive bleeding into the chest.

If one lung is punctured and the other is intact, most people can survive near just one lung (heck, we remove lungs premeditated for cancer). The thing that could decimate with a punctured lung is a rigidity pneumothorax, where nouns is sucked in to the space between the lung and the chest wall, and compresses the heart and other lung. That can be temporarily fixed by putting nozzle into the trapped air space and releasing the stiffness.

Regardless of where the GSW is, bleeding is other a concern, so pressure on the wound to minimize bleeding is important. You would also want to hold the victim supine, legs elevated, to hold on to blood flowing to the brain and other vital organs.

Hope that help.
People get shot within the chest with some frequency. If the heart and great vessel aren't hit, survival is pretty high, especially near low-power handgun wounds. If the victim is alive when he get to a trauma center, even a shot into the right ventricle of the heart is normally not deadly.
Treatment in the grazing land is dependent on what's available, but covering the hole tends to be a apt idea.
The inventory of specific injuries and possible treatments is pretty long, so it's impractical to distribute you a really good overview minus knowing more about your scenario.
If he is lucky ample and no vital organs are penetrated!!
