Please Need info going on for Radiologic technology?

Can someone tell me what the big difference is between the associate point and a bachelor’s degree contained by this field what is one qualified for over the other ?

Answers:    The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (which is the proper permanent status for a x-ray tech) just did a roomy salary survey. The remuneration varies, depending on your experience, specialties and geographical nouns. I work with a RT, who get a BS degree, and beside my certificate and multiple license, I make more money than she does. For example, the annual income of a RT within Alabama was $43,196. With supplementary training, and licensing surrounded by MRI scanning, the net is $51,174. In California, the average RT salary is $71,063. With MRI license, it is $83,185. To view, the survey, and see the average stipend in your state, you can stir to this link:

There are masses schools within many states where on earth you can get trained to be a RT. You can attend a hospital base program (and earn a certificate), a 2 year college program (AS degree), and even a 4 year college program (BS degree). The hospital based programs are the smallest expensive, and honestly, I think the tuition received there is superior. Once you graduate and bear your registry exam, no future employer is going to protection what type of educational program you go through. All they care in the order of is your license. You can find an accredited RT program at this site. Just rummage through "radiography" and your state...links are provided which will give you further information on each program (cost, duration of program, contact person):

The individual difference is that with a bachelors amount, you could go into direction or teaching. There is no difference within pay or skills.
