Why do surgeons and nurses wear Green surrounded by the operation theathre?

I'm not sure in that is any particular judgment green was chosen but the green garments and sheets are expected to be sterile so it reminds others not to touch them. The footwear is usually white and the trousers and vests (which are not serile are blue in the UK). The green things shouldn't be worn outside of the O.R. but populace are vain and like to be see in the canteen surrounded by theatre greens to impress the contrasting sex.
One advantage of green is that spilt blood go almost black on it so not too gory. White would trademark the surgeon look like the Texas Chainsaw Killer.
its is because green is a color explicitly very soothing to the eye ... thus ... at any time ... if the tolerant sees the doctor or the doctors see respectively other ... the color calms them down .... thats surrounded by the reason why the gowns are green ... its a soaring stress job ... that of a surgeon ... u see....
i presume GREEN colour is sooth & cool for eyes.
It depends on the hospital, I have see blue worn as well.

If you stare into a bloody wound and look at a white wall, you'll see green. If you look at something green, you won't.
That self said, most of what I see in ORs very soon is blue, not green. All of the disposable gowns and drapes we use are blue. Don't know about what is used over surrounded by the UK - might still be green there.
Becuz green is a pleseant color and so they prefer that color for bedsheets,footwear and bandage.
