in a rather large dose compared to read aloud a regular chest x-ray
although the benefits are usually believed to out way the risk unless pregnancy is suspected. The CT scan shows bony
detail better than an MRI however the MRI sometime picks
up inflammation from small fx's better. The ct scan is frequently used surrounded by trauma situations for the quickness of the scan. The CT scanner also has an easier time imaging moving parts such as bowel, lungs, and heart. But the MRI
does great picture of the organs and can picture the heart well beside the proper soft ware. The MRI is nearly always more sensitive for the brain and spinal cord. Just be sure that
