it is supposed to help prevent you from have seizures and is pretty standard protocol for any go before trauma. I don't think a doctor would recommend you not taking it.
yes.recommended usually for several weeks after guide injury (usually the more serious type.like if they found some bruising or bleeding on guide ct scan).
