Autopsy adjectives ?

Why, when performing an autopsy, do they cut the body in that "Y" shape? Why not an X, or a Z, or purely a simple old I. Why is it Y?

Answers:    Texts books will read aloud you can make a T-shaped, Y-shaped, or a vertical rank. I say screw those, net it a U-cut. We need some mixture in science! It's adjectives to provide maximum exposure....and to avoid cutting the nipples! ouchie!
The Y incision is done to provide the most access to the internal organs.
