a ultrasound tech makes great money! I am a xray tech presently and make hugely decent money but I'm going support to school for ultrasound academy and and am expecting a 10.00+ pay tilt! And no u do not have to be a xray tech first some colleges bestow bachelor programs in diagnostic medical sonography. DO NOT budge to school for it unles it is a ascribed program through a college.
