When you start to feel a cold coming on, embezzle Vitamin C. If you take it every couple of hours you might know how to fight the cold past its sell-by date. Even when full-blown sick you should still take Vit. C. However, when it comes to pills - the two best things I have found is Sudafed and Ibuprofen. I'm not usually one to pocket medicine though. Vitamin C have always worked for me. They also hold things you can drink - like Theraflu (if you can do business with the taste). And regular green tea is other good as ably.
Vitamin C, try chamomile tea...and start taking vitamins and echinacea ona regular basis. Echinacea help boost your immune system and get sick smaller number.

Take Zinc. It boosts your immune system, and helps you take over a cold faster. You can even keep taking them after your cold is gone, and you will concentration that you don't get sick as recurrently. I also highly reccomend Flax Seed Oil. It will engineer you smell a little funny, but consumption garlic helps me when I enjoy a cold. Real garlic- if the cloves are tiny, you can swallow them whole, but usually you gotta chew them.

Zinc (make sure you take it next to food so it won't upset your stomach).
Watermelon (cold), it has tons of wet and lots of sugar and Vitamine C. good for you within every way.
Citrus flavored Cold-Eeze.
Drink lots and lots of sea and rest as much as you can.
Decoction of pepper two ounces work well.
