Why is it commonly advise to avoid taking effexor next to adderall?

My doctor prescribed me 40 mg/day adderall IR and told me to take the indication packets of Effexor XR, but drugs.com say there's a "major drug drug interaction" next to effexor and both ingredients of adderall and that you should "generally avoid." Why? And should I whip the effexor or not (I already took it twice, got nauxous and anxious).

The doctor didn't even remember that he'd prescribed me adderall a month ago until I reminded him at the fundamentally end and he wrote a investigational prescription. So.... I'm just wanting some second opinion. And maybe a purpose for the "major drug drug interaction"?

Answers:    VENLAFAXINE HYDROCHLORIDE (in Effexor) may interact near AMPHETAMINE (in Adderall)

Although the cause of this potential interaction is not clearly buried, venlafaxine may increase the effects of amphetamine. This could cause an increase within side effects including irritability and depression, restlessness, and anxiety. Other more serious side effects include an increase in blood pressure, a speedy heart beat, and an unexpected heart rhythm.
