If a medication dosen't own an expiration date, is it okay to drink it?

It's called Safi. and the bottle is jam-packed without a broken trademark or anything..but it does not have an expiration date on it...it say : "date packaged: October 2005"...and since its already 2007, i don't know if it's a pious idea to pocket that medicine. And, it's not an over the counter pills from the Pharmacy or anything...i got it from an indian store.

Answer:
Looking at the expirary date is other the best for safety reason before taking any tablets. Safi I believe is a kind of an Indian herbal Medicine and is used by Ayurvedic Medicine. Its production date is written but not the expiry. I would not give somebody a lift it not unless I will know how long from the production date it is valid. I doubt a herbal medicine could end for two years but better not to take it unless you get confirmation.
