Can Voltaren be lethal if trying to conceive? Is it out of danger to bear while trying to conceive?
Answers: As far as we know, Voltaren is safe for an embryo or fetus. It have been around over a decade and is unknown to do any wound during pregnancy. According to http://www.pharmamedics.com/Voltaren-Plu... , it is pregnancy category B. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pregnancy_c... this means, "Animal reproduction studies hold failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and at hand are no adequate and well-controlled studies surrounded by pregnant women OR Animal studies which have shown an adverse effect, but all right and well-controlled studies in pregnant women enjoy failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus within any trimester."
Whether it could be inhibiting conception or not is another story. That is unknown, but not farfetched. It is a prostaglandin inhibitor, and prostaglandins are ubiquitous surrounded by the body. Take a look at Prostaglandins & Conception at http://yourtotalhealth.ivillage.com/pros... which really doesn't answer your question exactly, but discusses the subject, although they are chitchat about Voltaren's cousin ibuprofen.
If you can do lacking it, you can find out. The odds are against this person your problem. I'm assuming here because I don't know that you have never be pregnant before and that you aren't 100% sure that both of you are fertile, within which case stopping Voltaren can't facilitate.
Good luck.
I don't think it would craft that much of a difference. But wiki is wrong Voltaren is not a Preg cat. B its actually a C, which finances there isn't really any facts. I don't think it would affect you conceiving. You might want to see if you can switch to tylenol or motrin. Those are B's and mostly considered safe.
