Using RNAi in mice we own been competent to destroy the genome of HIV and Hepatitus C virus. This is amazing. Once we figured out a track to get it into a those infected cells, we may capably be able to cure a virus infection. It'll steal many yearsn though, but keep under surveillance this space.

Viruses are amazing things! They have the resources to mutate, or change their genetic makeup VERY briskly. So as soon as we get a chemical that can assassinate them, they may be able to mutate so that that chemical no longer works. Also, we hold a lot of research to do so we can swot up more about virus. actually i dont beleive we if truth be told "cure" viruses so to speak, vaccines, ect give support to develop antibodies in our immune system so that the virus, though it may budge into us, is unable to survive contained by our bodies. A virus is a form of life, and they affect us surrounded by harmful ways by attacking(eating is a track to look at it)various health cell in our bodies. Vaccines aid our bodies produces antibodies which attack and kill the virus, not allowing the virus to survive inside us. Now remember, virus are alive, just close to plants, animals, ect. and are constantly adapting and mutating themselfs to find ways to survive; they simply do so alot faster than plants and animals do. Thats why the new flu virus that tend to crop up (like the bird flu) can be so deadly or insalubrious to people because the virus have adapted itself so that the antibodies that destroy the flu virus you have have in times gone by dont hurt the new virus--simply put :)

what you mingy is why cant viral diseases be cured as easily as bacterial diseases. its because germs can be killed by antibiotics but virus are not alive so they cant be killed. virus are basically using the living cell of host bodies to replicate themselves and let the culture do the spreading by sneezing or in body fluids.
aids is a virus that attacks T lymphoctytes which are the cell that provide long term imperviousness to the body. if enough of them are destroyed by the Aids virus consequently people become susceptible to lower infections which kill them.
the aids virus is a retro virus which finances it keeps varying its shape over and over again which makes it almost impossible to create a vaccine to verbs it. but there is some optimism that a vaccine will be eventually found. germs can also adapt to antibiotics as they germs evolve to become immune to an antibiotic.
since there are an infinite array of viruses its really concrete to stop them. anti virals try to slow down the replication so that the body has a accident to repair the damage. the cold virus change so frequently that you never build up an immunity to the virus.
if a virus doesnt evolution much, if you live through the invfection then you are probably immune to adjectives exposures. if you had a polio vaccine shot next you are probably immune for life. influenza virus change from year to year so a flu shot is only apt for the year you got it.
