I looked up a pill I came across specifically large, oval, and white next to imprints C with a slash contained by the middle of the pill, both sides, and on the other side of the slash is 474. The back is blank. Is this metformin 1000(mg?) and is metformin alike in both treating diabetes and pcos surrounded by women or are there two types of the drug?
Answer:
metformin/ glucophage..on one side it say 1000 with a ranking mark down middle.. on backside it say...BMS 6071.
This is glucophage (brand name..bristol myers squibb.
it is roomy and oval.
I have used the generic..but I dont remember what it say on it other than the 1000.
This is used for blood sugar control. If you dont enjoy diabetes, dont take it, it will engineer you sick. People who take this nature of meds w/o diabetes risk the chance of low low blood sugars..which really CAN result surrounded by coma/sezures.
technically, when a pill is unlabeled, no matter what imprints it hold don't lug it.
mETformin is a to improve glycemic control within type 2 Diabetes melitus... of course contained by adjuct to diet and exercise
