Suspected overdose?
Answer:
Ibuprofen also contains Salicylic acid (Aspirin). However, unlike Paracetamol which can affect and seriously impair the liver, an excess of Salicylic acid (aspirin) whilst not to be taken weakly could, in the longer occupancy affect your friend's digestive system and he could get ulcer in the stomach. The reality he is still alive, still breathing and fit enough to bring back up and go to work say a great deal - he is NOT within any danger but, UNLESS he continues to take overdoses of analgesics.
It is not easy on your liver as that is what processes the medication. One time will probably not do too much damage , since he only took 8 aspirin and 10 ibuprophen .but if he make a habit out of it ..later he could damage his liver and also basis himself stomach ulcers (those drugs are really not easy on the lining of the stomach).
It can be relatively dangerous.
Depending on his body freight, and the "strength" of the pills, he could be in vulnerability.
The problem is, he won't die right away. The drugs will kill his liver and kidneys, he's looking at a long, slow, sore death.
Call someone. Suicide is usually unfair. That alone will get him commited to a psych ward for 3 days. Maybe he can obtain some issues resolved.
he'll be fine if he's of average weight or over, the strength of the pills within relation to his bodyweight can be found out by ringing nhs direct.its a cry for help,he wants someone to talk to urgently
How frequent mg per tablet did he ingest? If he's not vomiting, and doesn't have ay abdominal pains, he should be fine for in a minute. But I do advise seeking consult asap ot in recent times for the poisoing but for the danger of suicide. A trial of suicide is the strongest risk factor for completed suicide.
