What is Ketamine made from?

Such bizarre and unusual side effects, where on dust do these properties come from?

Answer:
It is a derivative of phencyclidine (PCP). It has frequent legitimate human uses, and may be the safest dissociative anesthetic available to anesthesiologists (I enjoy seen it used mostly surrounded by orthopedic surgery for elderly patients for whom general anesthesia poses too great a strength risk).

Its psychedelic effects are caused by its qualifications to bind to and stimulate NMDA receptors in the brain. Ketamine is of late a chemical ... the bizarre properties are the result of the way this unusual chemical changes the homeostatic mechanism of something far more complex (i.e. the human brain).
