I was within an auto accident contained by 2004 and ended up near a triple break on my ankle and lower leg. I had 2 surgeries on my ankle to place pins and screw and plates to staplize the ankle. As a result of the surgeries i have chronic lymphedemia of the right leg. Lately the blemish where I have my surgeries done have split along the suture flash. This has beed a protal through which I hold had cellulits infection to the full leg. I am am on lasix and spinolacto for the edema and do pressure garbs. But when I own the open sores I can't wear them and as sure they get hold of worse. My PC says the skin is so constricted there that I hold to expect that, but i feel within is more that can be done. Is it possible to get a skin graft over it to comfort with the splitting or is here something esle?

Second opinions are nice, but skin graft are no walk surrounded by the park. If you can heal I'd supply that a good try. Skin graft require all kind of healing time and you'd probably be pretty much where on earth you are now.

Get a second opinion. Larger medical centers commonly have special departments for wounds that won't/don't make well properly. Another set of fresh eyes on the problem is always a perfect idea.
