Is there a new UTI medication available over the counter?

My friend just mentioned that she heard of one that only subsides the symtoms until you can get to a Dr. I've never heard of it but she insists it exists. Anyone?

Answer:
drugstores carry, pyridium otc, and also cranberry tablets. pyridium used to be prescription only. you can however buy it otc. drink lots of water and get to the drugstore quickly as i know this is painful. good luck
