4,000 years of women in science! Did you know that? Women are, and other have be, scientists. This site lists over 125 name from our scientific and systematic past. They are adjectives women! This site grew out of the public talks given by Dr. Sethanne Howard, retired from the US Naval Observatory, and be developed by Dr. Deborah Crocker at the University of Alabama. They are both astronomers. As we learn more, we make the addition of it to this page. We hope you will share what you know with us. This includes inventors, scholar and writers as well as mathematicians and astronomers. We hope you savour learning nearly some of these women.
