What affects if your pulse rate is raising or lowering?

Answer:
Activity level
Hydration status
Fever
Co-existent cardiac disease
Other co-morbidities
Arrhythmias
Stress
Need more info: Are you resting or walking or exercising, after a large meal, or after large dose of caffeine. All of these have great effect on the rising pulse rate. Does it happen (Bang) immediately, or rise slowly. All of these enter in to the answer. May need a mild (25 mg atenolol) daily to get it regulated. I have taken it for 30 years. Good luck.
your pulse rate goes up and down all the time, this is natural.
If you are at rest, it lowers to lets say 60 (this number is different for each person) and if you are running, it might go up to 120.
This is because the muscles need more blood when they are active than when they are at rest.
