How much could a medical doctor working within Canada earn per month?
Answer:
I'm not a doctor, but I have notice that they tend to drive nice cars (Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, etc...) where the doctor's I've see in the US drive regular vehicle. I think that doctors do alright surrounded by Canada. We are a society that doesn't tend to sue people, so malpractice insurance would be like mad less than surrounded by the US. Because we have a bit of a doctor shortage, frequent places offer handsome recruitment incentives for doctors. Would you close to to have adjectives your student loans paid-off (hundreds of thousands of dollars), get a house compensated for, and have a fully-equipped organization provided for you when you become a doctor? That's pretty sweet, in my belief. In addition, contained by Canada, you would have your secretary bill the adjectives health insurance system for your services. You don't enjoy to fight next to cheap insurance companies like doctors within the US do. You can do whatever you muse is medically necessary for your lenient without have to ask permission from some pencil-pusher at an insurance company who wishes to deny your patient services to put aside the company money.
Personally, if I was a doctor, I would to some extent live in Canada than the US. The specific dollar amount of my repay would be significant, but it would be the freedom to practice medicine that would market me on it most. Maybe doctors in the US within certain situations construct more money than doctors in Canada. My doctor contained by Pennsylvania is closing his office because he loses money near the Medicare cut-backs. Medicare is cutting the amount they reimburse by 1/3. Could you do admin to do the same article you do today if they suddenly cut your pay by 1/3? I know that I would not be joyful with that. Hopefully my doctor contained by Pa will come to Canada. He's a good guy who requirements to make energy better for people. From what I collect, all he desires to do is support his family beside his job, not gain rich. He could help the greater pious and make a thoroughly decent living surrounded by Canada.
I don't know. I don't even live there.
Dunno, but I've worked next to a lot of doctors from Canada who moved to the US because they couldn't carry the income they wanted, couldn't win the tests and consultations they needed, and in nonspecific just couldn't practice the form of medicine they considered necessary. They have like problems with uninsured or underinsured patients contained by the US, but overall they all prefer it down south. And I don't know any doctors that own moved from the US to Canada. That may just be my recycled experience, though. And none of these guys is making that much money by US standards, either.
