Why do painmanagement doctors instruct drug monitor test?and what spifically are they looking for?

Answer:
They want to see if you are on the drug they prescribed. If not, you're selling it, and that's not allowed. Pain paperwork doctors hate it when populace try to take control of them. Drug monitoring is one way to trade name sure that doesn't happen.

If they cause it a policy for everyone, then they don't hold to single out people who they suppose might be dishonest. Don't take it individually.
I had to walk to a pain admin doctor for over a year and he never ordered that kind of check on me but it sounds like they are pretty much trialling you to make sure that you are not of late there for prescription aching pills.
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep I used to sell Pain Management Meds to these type of Drs.

They are more than promising trying to determine if the blood levels of a drug taken by a forgiving over a period of time corresponds to the dose prescribed and the usefulness in controlling the discomfort.

I've never heard of a Pain Mgmt. Dr. doing this, but my HONEST guess is that it's because they suspect a tolerant MAY be abusing a narcotic med.

Could be other valid reason though.
Drug monitor tests are done to review the course of treatment on stomach-ache management. The results will be the argument on continuation or modification of therapy.

As drugs used for dull pain management are usually subject to verbal abuse, another reason of doing the try-out would be to monitor patient's compliance in medication usage and related treatment plans.
They are probably looking for the drug surrounded by the system of the patient to build sure the patient is taking the drug. The panic is that the patient is wise saying that they need narcotics, but really are not using them, and selling them unlawfully.

If a urine test doesn't show narcotics, on the other hand the patient is prescribed narcotics, it doesn't include up.
