Will beta blockers give support to beside my first afternoon on the situation jitters?

I have low blood presssure and I know its a med for illustrious blood pressure but my doc prescribed it to me for tremors and anxiety

Answer:
They might. Beta blockers are often prescribed to win over the nerves of public speaking. They way they work get a little complicated, but it have to do with the "be at odds or flight" mechanism. This is the model that the body is tuned to respond to stressful stimuli by gearing up to fight or flee as brisk as possible. A lot of physiologic changes come to pass to make that take place, including increases in epinephrine (same as adrenaline). Epinephrine carry out its actions contained by part by acting on receptors. "Beta" is a class of these receptors. So, if you can block the beta receptors you can minimize that response, which includes increased heart rate, faster breathing, more blood diverted to the muscles, etc.

The stress associated beside a new commission or public speaking, or whatever, contained by some people cause a response similar to the fight or flight machine, only not as severe. If you're one of those race, a beta blocker will probably help you discern more relaxed.

Hope that helps.
Seems to work for some general public. Beta blockers drop slow your breathing and heart rate and tend to decrease anxiety. You say-so you have "low blood pressure". I assume you penny-pinching you have a generally low blood pressure...not a blood pressure that sits at 90/60.

There are other anti-anxiety meds out there that are route more effective than beta blockers. Many SSRIs (esp. Paxil--GlaxoSmithKline spent a ton of money proving that out!) hold been thought to stop social anxiety.

Hope your first day at work go well for you!
