How can I extract adjectives the damaging binders from codeine?

I have some pure codeine tablets and I would similar to to know if it is possible to remove all the other innactive ingredients such as the binders similar to chalk and what not...is there any bearing?.I know how to remove APAP from it but I cannot find any info on this matter...gratefulness
