Metformin and stomach pains?

My doc prescribed Metformin for insulin resistence. The instructions say to embezzle it BEFORE supper. I have be experiencing stomach pains and diarrhea. Does anyone take it AFTER a feast and is that okay?

Answers:    Metformin is normally taken in the past eating, because you want it to start working WHILE your food is digesting, instead of an hour or so after intake. This prevents a blood sugar spike after meals.

The stomach problems are adjectives with metformin, but they usually go away after taking it for a week or so. Your body simply needs for a time time to get used to it. If it persist, contact your doctor. He may switch you to a smaller dose twice a day instead of the full dose once a sunshine. This is a little easier on the stomach.
You will experience though symptoms regardless if you pinch it before or after a lunchtime. Your dosage will probably need to be in step to reduce side effects, or another psychiatric therapy will need to be used.
