Carbon monoxide(CO) is a colorless, odorless gas that is produced as a result of incomplete burning of carbon-containing fuels and incomplete combustion of carbon-containing compounds, legendary in internal-combustion engines. While smoke is a evident gaseous product of incomplete combustion. Smoke is the airborne solid and liquid particulates and gas evolved (one of which is CO) when a material undergo pyrolysis or combustion, together with the mass of air to be precise entrained or otherwise mixed into the mass.
carbon monoxide is produced due to incomplete combustion. a normal combustion allergic reaction (burning..) would produce carbon dioxide. oxygen atoms are not always uniformly distributed surrounded by a combustion reaction so carbon monoxide is formed
When something is burned the Carbon and Hydrogen counter with Oxygen surrounded by the air forming H2O (water) and CO2 (carbon dioxide). If in attendance is not enough oxygen available CO (carbon monoxide) is formed or even C Carbon. Smoke is Carbon. Hope this help.
Because of incomplete combustion, The carbon did not bind with 2 oxygen instead near 1 oxygen as in the valise of (Car engine combustion and cigarette smoke). As this is found in prescription I will give a medical explanation on the hazard of CO,
