How high-status is the GRE for science?

Answers:
GRE displays a person's potential for understanding things.

In and of itself, the evaluation has no *importance* for science, but might powerfully indicate that a person have a capability to do results in 'science' . that's alll .

tho a large score *might* manor a person a grant of some sort . tha's quite "iffy" . high-scores and *connections* are more feasible to do this.
in vocabulary of importance, you inevitability to do "ok" on them to get into grad institution, the schools i applied to adjectives had minimum score that you had to complete for them to even consider your application.

starting on day 1 of grad arts school through the rest of your life, they own 0 impact on anything. except if you did ok you can laugh at the nation who score close to 400 on verbal.
Could you clarify your quiz a bit? If you are applying for a graduate program in the sciences, most programs do require you to do ably on the GRE. It is one of there first hurdles, along beside a strong GPA.

If you are applying to medical school, the GRE is unfamiliar at all. Instead you'll entail the MCAT.

If you are not applying to grad school but basically asking about working surrounded by the field of science, again you will not involve the GRE.

The GRE is very learnable. However, the pattern of the test are not undemanding to pick up on. I've been studying and principle it for 15 years and still learn clean things!
