Yawning and hyperventilation relations?

I'm curious how this works. If we yawn because our brain, or some other vital organ, lacks oxygen, later why do we yawn when hyperventilating ?

Answers:    Yawning as far as I know is not connected to hyperventilation! Its function btw is said to rid yourself of CO2, which you already did by hyperventilating, nothing to do near oxygen.
presumably to get rid of the excess oxygen
