Celexa( citalopram hydrobromide) is prescribed for depression,which I'm sure that you know this.As with most antidepressants,it can nick 2-4 weeks before you awareness any change within your symptoms. However,if symptoms worsen or persist, it is best that you contact the Doc that prescribed the medication. Most side effects will moderate within a short extent of time, so this is normal. Adverse reaction: tremor,insomnia, anxiety,impaired concentration, confusion, fatigue, numbness or tingling sensation,forgetfulness, denial of feelings ( apathy), suicide attempt. These are tabled because , should these symptoms appear in one out-of-a billion society,these need to be down ( Federal Law). d heart rate ( fast heart beat),dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, runny antenna, vomiting, stomach pain( abdominal pain), gas. Yes, it can even cause increased appetite. There are abundant side effects,as is the case near many/most antidepressants. Serotonin syndrome may be more likely when you start or increase the dose of any of these medication.
