Hello, I am trying to find information for my father. He has be complaining of symptoms such as severe dizziness, problems walking (Equilibrium off really bad), severe delicateness, and vision have been blurry at times. He have had these symptoms for roughly a year. He has be to countless doctors including neurologist. He did have a stroke over a year ago but have completely recovered from that. His blood pressure is under control. Even the ear, snout and throat doctors he went to couldn't really diagnose him. He also have headaches surrounded by the surrounding the temple areas and also mid ways in the backbone of his head. One of the doctors prescribed transderm which seem to ease at times but lately have not been working. Is in that any information you can give us going on for what this might be? We have tried everything and are looking for answers. Thanks!
Answers: NO. IT IS NOT MENIERE'S DISEASE.
Meniere's disease have 3 symptoms- giddiness, deafness & tinnitus-that is whisling nouns in ear. There are normal attacks of these.
THIS IS A NEUROLOGICAL PROBLEM. CONSULT ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST.
possibly Menier's Syndrome. Not sure of the spelling. Affects inner ear, I believe. Been a while since I read about it. I would deliberate an ENT would have checked for menier's but they did not check this for my mom, though the ENT told her she doesn't own Menier's??? Her symptoms are similar to your dad's.
