Help me,please?
Answer:
I am a dentistry student in Turkey especially the college where I am studying is massacre my all my social time (not of late watching TV but going to the movies too)! as a medical student find some other stuff:) TV is an addiction we can't spare time for TV unfortunately... I close to watching TV all afternoon... I mean alllll daaay long but I merely can't anymore! (well now I am on passion and watch TV close to maniacs but) when the conservatory begins I purely watch TV an hour or so contained by a day and approaching during dinner or something I can do while watching TV. at the week and it is 2hrs in the morning and 3 earlier going to bed. (I didn't schedule it but it happen to be like this) one or two sit-coms don't damage you (total max 1hr) but if you start watching one after another TV really kills your time to study, you enjoy a whole world of information to revise and memorize!
for short Simpson's, scrubs won't hurt you but if you progress after lost heroes and prison break at like peas in a pod time you might be sorry after... okay some of my friends can manage that too but I lately can't most people can't and that's why your parents are worried...

First, ask yourself why you didn't achieve high results. Was it because you did not spend enough time studying? You did not think through the material? You do not exam well? Other students tested better and pushed the curve up? Med arts school just isn't for you?
I agree and disagree near your father. You do need to study rock-hard, and if watching TV distracts you and takes away time that you ought to be studying, next he is right. But, if you are watching a very constrained amount of TV during the week as a way to relax and unwind, next that is totally different. We adjectives have different ways to unwind and if med institution is anything like regulation school afterwards you just want to veg and not ruminate about anything.
Just be drastically cautious going on for your study habits and product sure you do have some down time every daylight so you do not burn out.
I am a part time university student and I work full time. I view very little box - if any. The study of medicine is a rigorous undertaking - especially here surrounded by the U.S. It requires a lot of sacrifice and dedication. I guess you inevitability to ask yourself which is more important. TV or one a doctor. If you aren't willing to bequeath up something as simple as that, you may have a problem within this career.
Just to share you, the US isnt the only best country out at hand, alot of steriotypes, try going to China or Japan even consider Russia, I myself am planning to move out once I turn 18
I'm a medical student too and it does sound close to you're watching too much TV. Television causes you to turn into a passive, almost hypnotized mode and drains your sparkle. And you know as well as I do that you could study 100 hours a week and not know everything. Keep within mind that almost everything on TV shows up on Youtube, so you won't miss anything by waiting until weekends or vacation. Also, if you hold shows you really love and you have a friend next to a VCR, maybe your friend can video them for you.
Passing the boards and getting a US residency is not easy and nearby are new medical school opening contained by the US making it more competitive. Keep your dreams in mind and focus on your studies. Would it assistance you to study with friends?
