Not quite sure what you niggardly by 'formulate' but there are so oodles wound care products on the souk that its difficult to know where to start.
There are many factor to take into rationalization when choosing an appropriate dressing. Most importantly it depends on the type of wound. For example a surgical incision healing by first intention will require a different dressing than an begin wound which must heal by granulation. Also, is the wound infected?
If you work within the NHS you should have access to the service of a wound meticulousness specialist such as a Tissue Viability nurse.
There are many courses available on wound trouble at the colleges providing nurse training.
