I own 10 mg/ml of morphine but the instruct read 15 mg prn, how copious mLs do I make available? 1.5 mls? or .75 mls?

I'm confused on how to set up the equations and I am a STUDENT whom is LEARNING so please no nasty remarks (I other get some) on 'I hope you're not my nurse' bs. Thanks!


Answers:    So how to work out it:

(10mg/ml)*(x ml) = y mg

we have set y as 15, the dose surrounded by mg we want

(15mg)/(10mg/ml) = 1.5 ml, notice the mg component cancels out.
it would be 1.5 ml
