Why do horses and cows routinely achieve antibiotics, while citizens told no?

Last time I check, those horses and cows had no confusion or weren't coughing up any green sputum. Instead of blaming humans for the spread of bacterial resistance, shouldn't doctors also be focusing in on the vet. How many precriptions for antibiotics are written respectively year for dogs?

You might want to loosen up your presriction pads on those antibiotics a bit in the past old fido uses it adjectives up :)

cows are generally more streamlined meat producers when they're doped up on all kind of antibiotics, even if they don't show signs of illness. the pretext they get antibiotics where on earth human beings are told "no" is partially politics, but also because a mutant resistant microbes that kills one species won't necessarily snuff out another (see bird flu, although that's a virus). the possibility of antibiotic resistance in animals is why nearby is now a big movement to shrink the amount of antibiotics fed to animals.
Because when they bring back sick they die while people hold other ways of treating themselves.
Well I cant comment on horses, but with cows, we eventually put away them, so we want them to be healthy!

Also, I suppose with population, if we take too various antibiotics, we build up a resistance to them and then they are no longer effectual.
herds such as horses and cows do not own initiative mind to heal themselves. Human is different to animal, since Human have brain that can think how to solve their problem when they carry one.

because farmers don't care whether some of the bugs contained by their cattle becomes antibioresistant, and the drugs are subsidised.

sadly, because of this, one day you could see a crucial disease spread, which will be antibioresistant, and that will mean have to kill tens of thousands of head.

and worse, some of those antibiotics stay in the meat, so influence humans, within that they help some of the human germs become antibioresistant as economically.

for some reason, this is considered a primary issue in Japan or most of Europe, but within the U.S. no one care.
On the contrary, people do assistance. We butcher our own beef and give some to our daughters and thus our grandchildren. We want them to be healthy and we are hugely aware of what consumers want as well. We do not impart antibiotics to our cows or horses unless they are very sick near something and in difficulty of dying. It costs money to give antibiotics and we acquire a better price for our calves at market if they are hormone and antibiotic free. The concluding time I checked, most of us here in the U.S. don't munch through dogs so I don't understand what difference it make if Fido does get a shot when he's sick.
