If it were possible to do a brain transplant?
It could save the life of someone who is brain dead--is alive but can't think or move..
If you get it,
are you the person you used to be? or are you a new person, the one from whose brain you received? do your personality and interests change then?
Answer:
The base you would start from would not be your old personality but the person's whose brain you received. But you would form a new person out of it. Or perhaps, because for a short time the brain would be detached from everything, it would reset itself and you'd start clear. But you wouldn't have your old personality right off. You might develop it from your environment.
if it was possible you would have the other persons memories and likes and dislikes you would be the other person in a differeent body
likely you would retain some of the new brains personality and data, but none of the host bodies.
likely the procedure would be traumatic and some amensia would damage full recall of the new brain and cognitive function. So it would be possible to be a new third personality.

the only possible way is to kill another one..or to manufacture a brain..so will u kill somebody to save another one?...
the definition of death is the complete brain damage so if the brain is still functioning then the person is still alive and u cant take his brain to someone else...
in conclusion: what u r talking about is only possible if we can make a brain which is impossible for sure..
