Residency is busy no matter the speciality.
The practice depends on how several partners are surrounded by the group. He is the weekend rounder about every 8 weeks and on-call I mull over once every couple of weeks.
There is plenty of time for a life and a people, even during residency if you have the right partner and priorities.
