Our appendices was functional when we humans be consuming grass and raw vegetables very soon it has evolved into a useless sack which when infected next to toxic matters become inflamed and has to be operate upon and removed.

Take perfectionism and God Bless !
Human appendix was once massively useful when we consumed red food, especially in digesting cellulose.Today,as we are using cooked food it is of no use.
it be used for the process of nuts and grains contained by our digestive tract.
however throughout time we have moved away from chomp through nuts and grains as heavily. making the appenbdix useless, get infected because you dont eat ample fibre to verbs it out
it is supposedly a vesidual organ that used to digest what is now indigestible, things similar to seeds, and fiber.
appendix is an organ which have distinction of trouble shooting. its purpose is to acclimatise the body to the prevailing environmental conditions.
well ..humans hold evolved.and appendix is a rudimentary organ.its primary function has be lost..but there still have been studies that still ,appendix could some harmony.but its not proved yet.
Human appendix is a vestigial organ. As such biologically it have no use. But it provides evolutionary evidence. Herbivores have appendix which have enzymes that can digest cellulose. So, it shows that human beings were herbivores initially and hold evolved from herbivorous animals.
THE APPENDIX IS NOT VESTIGIAL! It is there for a intention!
The appendix is specialized structures akin to a micro-scale sampling port for the immune system. It is dominated by lymph nodules, and its primary function is as an organ of the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. It have rich lymph fluid circulation. Lymph fluid is rich in white blood cell. Thus sitting at the cecum at the beginning of the considerable intestine. It is generally terribly good at its opening of regulating bacterial populations in the gut. Unfortunately it is not amazingly effective at straining out virulent strains of e-coli because other strains of e-coli are essential to the production of vitamin-k, minus which we would bleed to death. It is, however, drastically good at regulating germs like vibro-cholerae.
The Appendix, after copious years of research I have drawn a conclusion that one extraordinarily important function of the appendix is to help out teenagers get a huge amount of attention i.e. teenaged boy or girl have to go within for appendix removal thus missing a couple of weeks of school, their friends flood the hospital, buy adjectives the stuffed animals possible and other useless presents, crowd the hospital and drive the nurses crazy. Then when said recovering teenager is home "resting" the appendix removal seem to cause a spontaneous effect of incessant phone calling with side effects of shortened homework teacher have sent home with friends as requested per mom and dad resulting contained by child recovering, returning to school, stardom weakening and progress report showing the said teenager better bring back their butt in gear on the work or summer academy will be perscribed.
sorry it sounded funny to me
