What're the advantages and disadvantages of taking Biology as my leading if i wanna seize into the medical institution?
Im currently struggling with my central, Biology! I picked bio previously purely because it's a path to medical institution. But I dont like studying plants or insects... i'd to some extent focus more on physiology and pathology..etc. which are related to medicine because i really savour studying them!
I know that the MCAT concentrates not only on bio but chem and physics.. so if i select Bio as my central, would that be okay for me to take the MCAT? Would that be better if i modify my major to Pre-medicine since my Uni hold this as a major?
and Lastly....
What're the advantages and disadvantages of taking Biology as my chief if i wanna get into the medical arts school?

The advantages to major contained by biology are that you can cover some of your pre-med requirements, and get a look at what you're going to be studying subsequent.
Disadvantages: if you don't like it, you won't do as in good health and the GPA could suffer. Also, why spend 4 years in misery?
Major surrounded by whatever interests you. I majored contained by psych. Fascinating stuff, and no labs. Find what you love and study it.
If you want courses that will help within med school, be paid sure to include biochemistry, genetics, and anatomy & physiology. Beyond that, studying something non-bio and non-medical make you a more well-rounded, more interesting person.
I am contained by my first year of med school and be also a Bio major. I despised the plant type classes too, because they were no sustain at all, not even for MCATs. If the "pre-med" core is an option it sounds similar to something that you would be more interested in, and I assume it would give you slightly better preperation for the MCAT. Your core itself though will have highly little impact on if the med school will adopt you. They take empire from all majors.
