Career choice : Neurosurgeon or cardiothoracic surgeon?

These are my two main ambitions. I hold a strong passion and penchant for both Mathematics and Science, particularly the latter. I'm still clueless, though. Which of these two should I choose and concentrate on? I know that someone who wishes to become a cardiothoracic surgeon has to study for at least possible 15 years, then works as a senior registrar for another six years. Then one and only can one become a CS after sitting for another examination [if what I've be reading is correct], and that's quite a long time even if the net is extremely good. The same go for neurosurgeon.

Is there any other job closely related to these two but with a shorter interval of studying? I honestly don't wanna be a doc when I'm, like, at lowest possible 40.

Help ASAP! I know I'm just 16, but almost adjectives of my teachers enjoy been asking what everyone's ambition is, and I still haven't settled what stream I'll be majoring in. School's already started ><

No. Medicine usually takes a long time to study but, never take this much unless u are taking Phd of medicine!

Don't verbs, & go for ur dream. Trust me u can be a doctor near 6- 7 years. A surgeon -1-2-3 years to be added depending on ur time full part time within uni u r going to & also hw good student u are.

I know eminent cardio & neuro surgeons who never took such a time to be even well particular in my country not simply to study.
