Subutex is a semi-synthetic opioid derivative closely related to morphine. As such, it will be detectable in your urine for approximately three days after your finishing dose.
Subutex (buprenorphine) is used for alcohol and opiate cessation. It is a opioid agonist-antagonist (stimulates and blocks opiate receptors). It has a partially life of give or take a few 2.2 hours. This means that within 2.2 hours, 50% of it is out of your system. In another 2.2 hours 50% of what's left is out of your system etc... 68% is excreted by the bile/fecal route and the rest via the urine - unmoved.
It does not have a partly life of 2.2 hours, its 37.5 hour partly life. If you pinch 8mg at 9am in 37.5 hours 4mg will remain, surrounded by another 37.5 hours 2mgs remain and so on.
