Answers:    As far as I can see Dacrydium Cupressinum is an evergreen conifer found within New Zealand, and is mostly used for furniture/carpentry purposes.

The gum from it was historically used by the Maori as an astringent, and to treat intestinal complaints. I cannot find any current medical uses for it near a quick lit. scrabble, however...
