Answers: Hi
Well, it depends on several variables but;
The NHS usually (but not always) buy their scanners out right - the average cost of a CT scanner is lb200,000.
Then it need to be maintain - this is relatively routine. The company I know in the UK (Machine Healers) charge just about lb450 for a 3 monthly service and test of the soft ware.
A CT scanner user in the region of 5KwH of electricity 3 Phase - thats about lb3 per hour.
You own a radiographer performing the scan - they demand a stipend of lb16,000 plus in the UK per annum minimum.
You later need a consultant to interpret the data/images depending on the nouns imaged. They usually are doctors and demand a gross of lb35,000 minimum per annum.
The scan usually takes 5 minutes and the interpretation upto 30 minutes.
The floor space the scanner take up is about 50 square meters next to a typical health sector floor rental cost of lb330.00 per m2 per annum.
