Is this urinary retention?

Ive been peeing every 5 minutes or so but surrounded by very small amounts and I keep hold of feeling close to i havent peed it all. The doctor said it be just because of my UTI but I really surface like I entail to pee and start to move my feet and legs approaching a little boy. How can I know that my bladder is not full?
