Medication quality/safety from Rx-Canada?

Has anyone ever used or known someone who's used medication from Rx-Canada. My grandpa is considering using it and I am worried it might not be 'exactly' alike. I have hear horror stories about populace getting medication at a discount from mexico and think this might be the valise. On the site it says FDA approved and his doctor say the same company make it. So how is it canada can sell it so cheap. Is it really the American gov't or are they not one and the same quality medication. Please one and only answer if you have used, know someone who have, or in some other track have an insiders belief. The website is Rx-canada.com if you want to check it out. Thanks for your help. will pick best answer.

Hello:

I am Canadian and the motivation our medications are cheaper is because the pharmaceutical companies are underneath the thumb of the government that regulates them to preserve the costs low. I know that the approval of prescription drugs in Canada have a higher standard than like mad of other countries. ie. some drugs don't pass standards within Canada but are available in the United States, or Europe. In that defence we Canadians have to come find some of the newer drugs from the states while Health Canada decides if they intervene their standards.

I wouldn't worry just about getting meds from Canada, but make sure you enjoy a reputable company that is truly Canadian and one that insists you hold a prescription, not one of those ones where you can use a doctor on procession to get your meds. Also once you obtain the meds I would have your grandpa look at them and see if they look like or check on line that the tablets/capsules are what they say-so. www.medicinenet.com in the medicine sections will notify you the colour of the meds and what they say on them, etc. which will bestow you piece of mind. Once you order once, and you are comfortable beside that company then you won't hold to worry.

An interesting bit of information - I checked out a few on-line pharmacies that are supposed to be Canadian and I found the prices for my meds be more expensive getting them through the internet than if I was to budge to my corner drug store. But they are definitely cheaper than buying them surrounded by the states.

Be careful and your grandpa should be okay. Good luck.
