All doctors make a wearing clothes living. You don't go into medication for the money.
I have a energy. I have a husband, three kids, and four horses. I enjoy time to play on the computer, and I have time to relish other hobbies as well.
Medical university was tough, and particularly time consuming. Residency was crazy. They OWN you. (But I still have time to gestate two of my kids)
Your practice is what you make it. Some doctors work too much. Some of us work smaller quantity. You find a situation that suits your needs.
hahaha. if you're surrounded by it for money, dont even bother- they dont make that much. no, most of the time you are working, dont really own much of a life.
you'll own long nights at med college, and then more to come. I be going to, as long as its something you really want to do, go for it. There's nought better in the world than the contentment you get from doing what you love.

within med school you procure NO sleep at all when you are a doctor you achieve some sleep but not alot. I was on my style to med school whenI approved Id reather have a vivacity and a family back the age of 50
depends on the specialty. Yes, the medical education and training process is long and grueling. After that, its up to untried drs to decide how much they want to devote to work.
In broad:
general practice/internal medicine- 50 hrs a week (lowest of the practice areas)
non-surgical specialty- up to 60-70 hrs a week. ob/gyn fits here.
surgery and ER - up to 100 hrs a week. this can be an insane commission.
a lot of surgery is bring "on call" at chance hours for up to 36 hrs at a stretch
The last two years of medical academy and residency have long night. Not all the time, but they are nearby.
As for having lives, yes, we enjoy lives. As for family, lots start in medical conservatory or residency. It can and is done.
Going into medicine for the money is a discouraging idea. You requirement to love medicine. There are far easier ways to put together money without going six data into debt.
