I'm sure there's in the order of a million things that have symptoms of shivers down the spine. Talk to your doctor at your subsequent physical if it's really bothering you.

I go and get cold shivers through my heart region, which is even more freaky. I've asked on here several times and no one seem to share it.
It is an old reflex adjectives from our distant (very very distant) ancestors. The shiver would motivation the hair on the stern (if we'd still have any) to stand up and kind the animal (i.e. our very primitive ancestor) appear larger, and thus intimidating to a potential aggressor.
Now, anything that would disturb you and that you may somewhat grain like a threat would trigger the reflex.
Don't dismiss it as pointless, it worked for our distant and primitive ancestors, if not we would not be here, right?
