Can I use a sunbed if I give somebody a lift Prozac?

My daughter is on Prozac and she is just support from a two week holiday in Spain, greatly tanned! Her GP did present her a warning going on for sunscreen, as some people CAN be more sensitive to the sun on Prozac. Sunbeds are different though, the rays are different, so only check it out.

Hi Claire I judge you will find that it is not recommened. I know from taking setraline for a good while that I be advised not to shift in the sun or use sunbeds. However, next to regards to prosac this I don`t know different because it is not an SSRI medication and I'm sure does not work on the serotonin in the brain. So I would catch advice from your GP up to that time dismissing it completely.

to correct the second one Prozac is the first SSRI
It is contra-indicated only if you are sensitive to sun-light.Otherwise, you would be fine taking fluoxetine.Anyway, if you prescribed near Prozac, why don't just ask your doctor for better payment.
You can do ANYTHING on Prozac! I once drove 17 miles on the wrong side of the Interstate!
